You can't trust Gamespot at all. Still, I've been wondering myself for quite a while now if the PS3 will ever be able to produce really good textures. Maybe developers are still learning how to properly use the cell and thats the reason the PS3 is weak on textures, but maybe for some reason the PS3 will never be able to produce good textures. I wish I knew. Still, textures aren't everything. Killzone 2 looks incredible any way you slice it, textures or not.

This is off topic, but its really hard to find wii fans on this site, so I was wondering if you guys would recommend Zack and Wiki. I've heard that its a hardcore game. Is it really hardcore? Is it a good buy?
The Mart, what in the world makes you think that too human is going to be a good game? Seriously. EVERY SINGLE critic that has had hands on time with too human has said that it sucks. Everyone who has played too human hates it. Why would you put too human in your list of good 360 games? If too human scores more than a 75 on metacritic I will give you a thousand dollars.
Sigh. I like games with sexy chicks in them as much as anyone. I wish more games had sexy women in them. But the soul caliber boobs have gotten way, way too big. They're ludicriously oversized to point of being disgusting. These chicks look like they have some sort of hormonal imbalance. Not all guys like freakishly huge jugs.

Overlord is fun. Not worth buying at 60 bucks, but a definite rental.
The game of the year should be MGS4, but we all know that most videogame web-sites and mags have a microsoft bias, so I think most sites will give GTA4 game of the year. But its way too early to try to guess at this point. Most big games aren't coming out till fall.
I believe Resistance 2 will look better than that trailer, and that trailer was incredible. Resistance 2 will deliver, big time.

"Halo is great in all respects"--seriously dude? Halo 3's graphics suck, straight up, they suck. The single player campaign is a joke and has constant backtracking. The grunts have little kid voices. There is pink and purple draped everywhere in that game. Some of the weapons are pink for C*****'s sake. I think the story was written by a twelve year old. Halo 3 deserves a 5 or 6 at best. Halo is hype and nothing more.

I think PS3 and 360 gamers are equally hardcore. But honestly, not trying to flame at all, are there any hardcore nintendo gamers left? I just can't see the Wii lending itself to hardcore gaming. Portal's gameplay was unlike any other gameplay in any other game. Portal is an original. It is nothing like any game in 1998 or 2008. The half-life games have out-dated visuals, but their gameplay is rock solid. Half-life, and especially Portal, brutally destroy Folklore in every way, shape and form. The Orange Box is A MILLION TIMES better than Folklore. Have you actually played Portal? I doubt it.
I used to be a big JRPG fan, and I still like them, but Oblivion really opened up a whole new RPG world for me. Oblivion was so refreshing that every JRPG got downgraded a little bit in my eyes after playing it. I still like a good JRPG, but Oblivion awakened me from my dogmatic JRPG slumber.
What in the sweet, holy, living, mercifull hell happened to White Knight Story? Is that game still coming out in 2008? Everyone used to list it in their PS3 2008 games and now nobody does. Did it get delayed?
Uncharted looks absolutely amazing. But its a third person game, so you aren't able to look at the environment really close-up the way you can in a first person game. Bad textures are only a problem when you're looking at them really closely.
